ACAMM-23 delegates experience Vietnamese culture and history

Deputy Director of the museum Senior Colonel Dinh Xuan Hoa welcomed the delegation and introduced them to exhibits in the museum.

Briefed upon the history of the museum which features the history of Vietnam’s resistance war for national reunification, the history of the Vietnam People’s Army, the delegates watched documentary about the war in Vietnam and visited exhibits indoor and outdoor.

Documents and exhibits about President Ho Chi Minh attracted the delegation. After being introduced to his life and revolutionary career, delegates raised questions to learn more about him. Especially, Lieutenant General Agus Subiyanto, Deputy Chief of the Indonesian Army, asked the tour guide about the meaning of the name Nguyen Ai Quoc, Ho Chi Minh.

The delegates were also surprised while seeing images and items featuring the resistance war of the Vietnamese people. They took memorable photos during the event.

During the visit to the Thang Long Imperial Citadel historical relic site

At the Thang Long Imperial Citadel historical relic site, the senior officers witnessed antiques and architectural vestiges with a long history bearing great historical and cultural value of the ancient Thang Long Citadel, which has been recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage.

The visit helped the delegates know more about the Vietnamese country and its tradition of heroic struggle for national liberation as well as rich history and culture imbued with national identity.
