General Nam requested Viettel to continuously innovate, improve production and business efficiency, and fulfill military and defense tasks. The group should take the lead in mastering national strategic technologies and industries, and in researching, developing, and supplying advanced, modern weapons for the  military. At the same time, it must actively invest in infrastructure, develop new modern products and services, maintain its prestige and brand, then expand markets.
