Senior Colonel Tao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) attended the event.
Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hung, Director of Viettel Commerce recalled the glorious traditions of the company.
Over the past 25 years, the company has constantly researched and innovated operation methods to improve the efficiency of production and business activities, contributing to accomplishing military-defense missions and developing a giant Viettel as it is today.
At present, with more than 300 Viettel Store supermarkets throughout the country, Viettel Commerce has become one of the three largest retail chains of mobile phones and telecommunications services. Therefore, the material and spiritual life of its staff has gradually improved.
Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Tao Duc Thang affirmed that the order reflects the Party’s and State’s recognition of the company’s outstanding achievements and active contribution to the construction and development of Viettel in particular and the nation in general.
In the time to come, Colonel Thang required the company to further focus on changing traditional business thinking to become a dynamic and marketing-oriented company.

Also, Viettel Commerce should draw up concrete strategies and set higher targets to turn the company into a leading multi-trading corporation in Vietnam.
Colonel Thang hoped that the Board of Directors and all officers and employees of the company heighten determination, strengthen solidarity, and promote creativeness to complete all assigned missions, bringing the company to a higher position.
