The event was attended by Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam.
Seventy years ago, on May 19, 1956, Military Ordnance Workshop X10, the predecessor of Factory Z117, was established in Hai Phong. It was one of the first three factories designed and built by military ordnance officers and workers themselves to undertake the repair and production of weapons and military equipment serving troop training and combat readiness missions.
