Major General Nguyen Duc Tang, Deputy Political Commissar of the General Department of Defense Industry, the standing agency of the organizing panel, chaired the conference.
According to reports at the conference, as of September 23, the standing agency had received 50 registration dossiers from military and civilian enterprises, equivalent to 172 standard booths. The organizing panel also arranged 30 booths for Cambodian enterprises.

Scheduled to take place from October 14 to 17 at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, VIDEX CAMBODIA 2026 will feature products and services of military enterprises, typical economic and dual-use national brand products from ministries and sectors, regional specialties, Vietnamese export products, and outstanding products from Cambodia.

The exhibition will also introduce photo displays highlighting the special traditional friendship between the States, peoples, and militaries of Viet Nam and Cambodia. It will promote the image of the Viet Nam People’s Army in economic development associated with national defense, defense diplomacy, international missions, peacekeeping operations, border exchanges, and search and rescue activities.
A Vietnamese Cultural Space will introduce the country and people of Viet Nam, featuring 3D technology for virtual tours of cultural heritage and traditions of the Viet Nam People’s Army. In particular, a culinary cultural exchange space of about 1,000 square meters featuring Viet Nam-Cambodia cuisine will provide visitors with opportunities to experience traditional dishes from both countries.
The exhibition will also include various cultural exchange activities, such as traditional musical instrument performances, traditional dances, and collective dances performed by Vietnamese soldiers. The Art Troupe of Military Region 9 is scheduled to perform daily from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for visitors.

Concluding the conference, Major General Nguyen Duc Tang praised agencies and units for their proactive and effective coordination despite the tight schedule and large workload. He requested the standing agency to incorporate feedback, urgently complete the report, and submit it to leaders of the Ministry of National Defense.
He also asked relevant agencies and units to accelerate preparations, coordinate with the host country to promote the exhibition among Cambodian people and enterprises, quickly hand over the exhibition site for booth construction, and complete procedures for transporting display products.
The opening ceremony of VIDEX CAMBODIA 2026 is scheduled for the morning of October 14. On this occasion, the organizing panel has prepared 2,000 gift packages produced by Vietnamese enterprises for Cambodian visitors attending the opening day.
