Vietnamese Ethnic Groups’ Culture Day to be held
PANO – Seventeen ethnic minority groups from 13 provinces and cities across the country will join a series of activities marking the Vietnamese Ethnic Groups’ Culture Day in 2022.

The event will be held by the Management Board of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
This year, more than 200 people from 17 ethnic groups living in 13 provinces and cities throughout the country will attend the event. Among them, 100 people, who are working at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, are village patriarchs, village heads, artisans, ethnic people.
During the event, ethnic groups will re-enact their ethnic festivals and customs, perform folk songs and dances, including the maturity ritual (Le cap sac) of the Dao ethnic people, the new rice ritual of the Jrai ethnic group, the Chol Chnam Thmay festival of the Khmer community, and more. These activities will contribute to popularizing the cultural values of ethnic groups to visitors.
Additionally, art exchange programs and other exciting activities will take place within the framework of the event.
