The event was jointly organized by Tam Chuc Pagoda and the Association of Vietnamese Buddhists in Japan.

Held every two years, this year’s festival features ancient traditional Japanese religious rituals, such as homa, the fire ceremony and sange, the flower-scattering ceremony, attended by delegates and Buddhist followers.

The festival offers local residents visitors and Buddhist followers from both countries an opportunity to experience and gain a deeper understanding of the unique, culturally intertwined rituals of Buddhism in Vietnam and Japan, while further strengthening the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries.
