A ritual at the festival

The ceremony was attended by Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.

This year, due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tam Dao district authorities decided to only hold a brief, solemn, and respectful ceremony of offering incense to the Mother Goddess.

Through the ceremony, the organizing panel aimed to educate people, especially young generations, on the tradition “When drinking water, remember its source,” contributing to preserving and upholding national cultural values, especially Mother Goddess Worship – an element of intangible cultural heritage of Vietnam while popularizing the image of Tay Thien Scenic Relic Site and Tay Thien Mother Goddess to local people and visitors at home and abroad.
