Terraced fields in irrigation season
PANO – In May, terraced fields in Bat Xat district, Sa Pa town in Lao Cai province, and Mu Cang Chai district in Yen Bai province are filled with water, creating picturesque scenery of the mountainous areas with countless bright colors.
The spectacular landscapes of terraced rice fields have fascinated domestic and foreign visitors and photographers.
Below are several photos of the majestic fields along Muong Hum – Sang Ma Sao – Y Ty – Thien Sinh route in Lao Cai’s Bat Xat district, in Ta Van of Lao Cai’s Sa Pa town, and Yen Bai’s Mu Cang Chai district. The photos were taken by photographer Nghiem Dinh Chinh from Hanoi.
