Vietnam Creative Hubs Initiative launched
PANO – The Vietnam Creative Hubs Initiative (ViCHI) was launched on October 26 in Hanoi by the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and British Council Vietnam.
With the message, “Foundation-Connectivity –Promotion,” ViCHI aims to rapidly and sustainably develop creative spaces which will share information and ideas and cooperate to host quality events and programs.
At present, Vietnam has around 200 creative spaces in different models, including art studios, book stores, pedestrian streets, mural streets, and art training centers, among others. These places have helped nurture creative talent, develop art initiatives, and serve as entertainment venues for people. They also create jobs for many people.
As planned, ViCHI will launch its website as well as hold refresher courses on art and events.
