Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Youth Union Chu Hong recalled the glorious history of the HCYU over the past 90 years, and briefed delegates on the outstanding achievements of the municipal Youth Union.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Party and State, Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue handed over the first class Labor Order to the Hanoi Municipal Youth Union Organization for its great contributions to labor, and national construction and defense.

In his speech, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee said the youth union members are a valuable political asset of the country, and asked them to always take the lead in encouraging young people to participate in national construction and defense.

He asked the union to continue to launch more effective movements to inspire young people as well as imbue them with revolutionary ideals, contributing to the country’s development.
