At the ceremony, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organization Do Trong Hung announced the Politburo’s decision to appoint Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Doan Anh as Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. He will also serve as member of the Executive Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Organization and member of the Standing Board of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

On behalf of the Politburo, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organization Le Minh Hung presented the decision to Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Doan Anh. In his remarks, Hung highlighted Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Doan Anh’s comprehensive capability, extensive experience, and training in various positions in the military, noting that he has consistently excelled in each role, demonstrating strong dedication and positive contributions to any of his assigned missions. Hung expressed confidence that in his new role, Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Doan Anh will swiftly familiarize himself with the local context, apply his capability and experience, and work with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to foster unity, address existing challenges, and fulfill the objectives set in Resolutions of the 19th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Organization and Resolution No.58 of the Politburo on Thanh Hoa province’s development until 2030, with a vision to 2045. The Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organization also urged the local Party committees, authority, and sectors to promote responsibilities and solidarity to support Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Doan Anh in stabilizing internal matters and leading the implementation of the political tasks of the province.

Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Doan Anh expressed his commitment to devote himself to the new role, continue to bring into play the province’s achievements and the 94-year history of its Party organization. He pledged to promote the good virtues of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers,” remain absolutely loyal to the Party, the nation, and the people, and work closely with the Provincial Party Committee and the local political system to achieve the targets outlined in the 19th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Organization and Resolution No.58 of the Politburo. He also vowed to direct relevant agencies to ensure the timely, high-quality completion of Party congresses at all levels within the province. He called for solidarity and support from the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, local authorities, and the people to lead the province overcome difficulties and develop to be a growth center in the Northern region.
