Over the past 81 years under the Party’s leadership, Vietnam has secured national independence and reunification, advanced into the upper-middle-income group of nations, sustained robust economic growth, and continually improved public living standards. Amidst global volatility and conflict, the nation has maintained peace and stability while pursuing double-digit growth targets. Long-term development strategies, notably Resolution No.19-NQ/TW, envision Vietnam by 2130 as a highly-developed, modern, and civilized socialist nation with profound cultural identity and enduring vitality.
The Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress stresses that all policies must stem from the legitimate rights and aspirations of the people, taking human rights, civil rights, and public happiness and satisfaction as the ultimate benchmark. Development in Vietnam is gauged not only by economic indicators, but also by the continuous advancement of human rights. Beyond material well-being, citizens expect sound policies that safeguard their interests and respectful engagement from public servants. Cadres must continually reflect on and perform their duties as true servants of the people, reinforcing the state’s foundation.
Coming from the people and fighting for the people, the military remains loyal to the Party and devoted to the nation. Across wartime defense and peacetime construction, it has consistently served as a trusted pillar for the Party, State, and people. Seizing new national opportunities, all military personnel will surely excel in implementing Party resolutions, defending the socialist Fatherland, and safeguarding the peaceful environment necessary for national development and public happiness.
