Since its founding, the Communist Party of Vietnam has been the decisive factor in all national revolutionary victories. Under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnamese people rose from oppression to regain independence, reunify the country, and defend the Fatherland. By building socialism and integrating globally, the nation has achieved historic development, proving that the wise and right leadership of the Party ensures public faith, national unity, and victory.

This year’s anniversary of the Party’s foundation takes place in a context where the country continues to achieve important and comprehensive accomplishments across all fields. These results are the crystallization of the intellect, mettle, and indomitable will of the entire Party, people, and military. They are the vivid proof of the Party’s sound guideline and leadership capacity in steering the Vietnamese revolution cause forward.
From this reality, a new momentum is rising strongly throughout society. That is the momentum of firmly consolidated faith, of a forged will, and of a spirit of revolutionary action spreading from the central to the grassroots levels. More than ever, the requirement for our Party is to further enhance its leadership capacity and combat strength; vigorously promote innovation, creativity, and the spirit of daring to think, to act, and to take responsibility among cadres and Party members; strengthen discipline and order; and firmly consolidate the close-knit bond between the Party and the people.
Amidst this shared momentum, the Vietnam People’s Army continues to affirm its particularly important role as a political force and an absolutely loyal and reliable combat force of the Party, the State, and the people; pro-actively building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern military. Under the Party’s absolute and direct leadership in all aspects, the military must continue to uphold its working-class nature, remain steadfast in its goals and ideals of combat, and promote its core role in building a strong whole-people’s defense posture, meeting the increasingly high requirements of the Fatherland building and safeguarding cause.
Commemorating the 96th founding anniversary of the Party in the atmosphere of a new spring and a new momentum, the entire Party, people, and military feel even prouder of the Party’s glorious traditions and more confident in the chosen path. Under the glorious Party flag, with the highest spirit of solidarity, unity, and determination to act, we join hands and hearts to translate the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress into clear and tangible results in practice, continue writing glorious pages in the history of the Vietnamese revolution, and build our country to be increasingly prosperous, strong, civilized, and happy.
