Various measures to support AO victims
PANO - The Agent Orange/Dioxin Center under Military Hospital 175 and the Vietnam Association of the Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA) on June 21 held a meeting to promote coordination activities in providing medical treatment for Agent Orange (AO)/ Dioxin victims.
Accordingly, the two sides reviewed cooperation activities, such as providing screening tests for AO victims, seeking funds and international cooperation in supporting the victims, proposing measures for detoxification treatment, completing coordination mechanisms between the two sides in assistance of the AO victims.

As with the military detoxification facility in the Southern region, the Agent Orange/Dioxin Center has met all favorable conditions to support the AO victims such as well-trained doctors, modern medical equipment, special remedies and advanced treatment in the field of detoxification.
Besides, the VAVA also committed to make stronger efforts to support the AO victims across the country in improving their health and through rehabilitation at the center.
