Truong Son political officers gather in Hanoi
PANO – As many as 500 former political officers of Truong Son troops (Army Corps 12) gathered at the museum of Air Defense-Air Force Service in Hanoi in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the foundation day of the Truong Son heroic troops (May 19, 1959).
The event was held by the Political Sector of the Traditional Association of the Truong Son-Ho Chi Minh Trail.

At the gathering, Major General Nguyen Ba Tong, Chairman of the Political Sector of the Traditional Association of the Truong Son-Ho Chi Minh Trail recalled the unforgettable memories and contributions of Truong Son political officers.
For his part, Major General Vo So, President of the Traditional Association of the Truong Son-Ho Chi Minh Trail, underlined that the feats-of-arms of Truong Son political officers were always attached to the Party and their political work. He also urged the Political Sector of the Traditional Association of the Truong Son-Ho Chi Minh Trail to accelerate information dissemination about its tradition and history and further augment gratitude activities for the upcoming anniversary of its foundation day.
