Quang Ngai denotates five war-left bombs

The five bombs moved to a safer place for detonation

Previously, local people in Binh Son district (Quang Ngai) discovered the bombs and mines and then reported to local authorities. Upon receiving the information, the functional forces blockaded the scene, tasked the forces to guard it, and mobilized military engineers to move the bombs to Pho Nhon training ground in Duc Pho town for detonation.

According to Major Pham Quoc Viet from the Quang Ngai provincial Military Command, the bombs, mines and explosive items were manufactured by the U.S. The five bombs weighed around 1,130kg in total with a diameter of 0.2m and a length of 1.6m each. They were successfully cleared and absolute safety was ensured for personnel and equipment.
