Huge war-left bomb detonated in Tuyen Quang

Previously, the bomb was detected by people on the bank of the Lo River in the area of Dat Do hamlet, Vinh Loi commune, Son Duong district. After receiving the news, the Son Duong District Military Command sent troops to the scene to inspect and safeguard the bomb.

According to the Engineering Division of the Provincial Military Command, the bomb is 1.2 m in length and 25 cm in diameter. It was dropped by the French military during wartime.

The bomb was then moved to a safe place and detonated successfully.
