According to the plan, on August 21, the biological samples will be transported by a CASA-295 military transport aircraft of Air Force Brigade 918 under the Air Defense - Air Force Service from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City to Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi. The samples will then be taken to the Viet Nam Academy of Science and Technology for testing.

Speaking at the conference, Sr. Col. Nguyen Dinh Chuan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command and Deputy Head of the city’s Steering Committee 515, emphasized that this is a special mission of profound political, social, and humanitarian significance, demonstrating the responsibility, sentiment, and gratitude toward heroic martyrs and their relatives.

As soon as the number of samples meeting the required standards was determined, the city’s command pro-actively studied and proposed an air-transportation plan and actively coordinated with relevant agencies and units to reach agreement on the staging area, personnel, vehicles and equipment, ceremonial procedures, procedures for receiving and handing over the samples, and security and safety measures.

He requested that all forces continue to carefully inspect every document, sample, and seal, as well as every stage of the handover process; and maintain close coordination to ensure that no errors occur.
