Dong Thap’s Team K91 collects two sets of martyrs’ remains in Chau Thanh district
PANO - Based on information provided by local residents, Team K91 under the Dong Thap provincial Military Command surveyed and collected the remains of two martyrs who laid down their lives during the resistance war against the U.S. in Chau Thanh district.
According to initial identification, the two remains were believed to be of Le Van Sach and Tan, members of Company 208 of the Military Command of Vinh Long town.

According to Nguyen Van Tu (commonly known as Tu Van), a resident of Phu Thanh hamlet, An Phu Thuan commune, Chau Thanh district, who personally buried the two fallen soldiers, the two soldiers died during the flood season of 1970 and were buried behind the house of Nguyen Van Hung, also a resident in the same hamlet.
After collecting the remains, Team K91 handed them over to the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs of Dong Thap province to conduct DNA tests to confirm their identities.
