The circus show will start at 8 pm on May 5 at the Central Circus Theatre, 67-69 Tran Nhan Tong Street, Ha Noi.

The 60-minute show includes not only circus performances but also other arts such as singing, dancing and short plays named "Nguoi Meo on Dang" (The Hmong ethnic minority’s gratitude to the Party), "Hanh quan xa" (Long march), "Ho keo phao"(Chantey for cannon-pulling) and "Giai phong Dien Bien "(Dien Bien liberation. All of the performances aim to feature the 9-year resistance war against French colonialists and the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

At the show

Audiences will have an opportunity to recall the images of Dien Bien Phu troops and people climbing up mountains, going through forests to bring weapons, ammunitions and other logistic items to fighters in the frontline through various performances, like acrobatics, springboard, human pyramid and juggling.

The program will also include an exchange with historical witnesses and a ceremony to present gifts to Dien Bien Phu veterans.
