The coordination regulations consist of 3 chapters and 10 articles, clearly defining the scope, principles, responsibilities, coordination mechanisms, and practical implementation of the work. Accordingly, the two sides agreed to provide and exchange information, coordinate to give advice related to the management and protection of national sovereignty, sovereignty rights, and jurisdiction to the Party, Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of National Defense.

An overview of the conference

Speaking at the event, Major General Le Quang Dao, Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command, expressed thanks to the effective coordination between the National Border Committee and the Vietnam Coast Guard in the past. He emphasized the special significance of the signed coordination regulations, considering them as a legal basis for closer collaboration between the Vietnam Coast Guard and the National Border Committee in all aspects related to the management and protection of national sovereignty, sovereignty rights, and jurisdiction at sea.
