At the working session with each unit, the delegation was briefed on their task accomplishment in 2024, their orientation for 2025, combat readiness observance, and preparations for the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet). Delegates directly checked the units’ work of maintaining combat readiness, their preparation of documents and combat plans during Tet, and their arrangements to ensure both material and mental support for officers and soldiers.

Speaking at the meeting, General Vinh praised and highly appreciated the solidarity, pro-activeness, and determination of the units in overcoming difficulties and successfully fulfilling their missions over the past years. These efforts have contributed to firmly safeguarding the country’s airspace and the sacred sovereignty over the sea and islands.
The deputy defense minister requested that the party committees and chains-of-command of the units continue to strengthen education to raise officers and soldiers’ awareness of their duties. He also emphasized the importance of thoroughly implementing all directives and guidance from the Ministry of National Defense, the units, and local authorities regarding the organization of Tet celebrations.

The same day, the delegation visited and sent Tet wishes to troops of Division 361 under the service.
After inspecting the unit, General Vinh commended the efforts of the officers and soldiers in carrying out their tasks. To ensure combat readiness during the upcoming holidays, the deputy defense minister instructed Division 361 to develop and practice combat plans thoroughly to be prepared for any circumstances. He also emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination with other units and local armed forces to ensure the safety of the stationed areas, well conduct policy work for people, and take good care of troops.
