The event, which aimed to promptly replenish the blood reserves ready for emergency care and treatment of patients, attracted the participation of nearly 200 officials and soldiers from various agencies and units.

The voluntary blood donation movement, with the theme “Donating blood to save lives - One drop of blood given, one life saved,” has contributed to raising awareness among officials and soldiers about the importance of blood donation, thus encouraging them to actively participate in humanitarian blood donation programs.

This event also highlighted the beautiful tradition of solidarity and mutual support of the Vietnamese people and contributed to beatifying the noble qualities of the Vietnamese troops in the hearts of the people.

At the event, officials and soldiers from the Kien Giang provincial Military Command donated 198 units of blood. In recent years, the voluntary blood donation movement has been actively participated in by the Kien Giang provincial Military Command’s officials and soldiers who hope that their donated blood could save many patients and assist them in overcoming illness and improving their lives.
