The recipient was the family of Trinh Thi Thanh from Long Thanh My ward, Thu Duc city. The house was renovated from a downgraded house built by the Long Thanh My ward People’s Committee in 2002. The total cost of the renovation was VND 100 million, of which the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s chapter of Thu Duc city contributed VND 80 million.

In detail, experienced medical staff of Military Hospital 175 gave health check-ups and medicines to 300 local people in Quon Long and Dang Hung Phuoc communes, Cho Gao district.
On the occasion, the delegation granted 200 gifts to policy beneficiaries, as well as visited and presented gifts to five heroic Vietnamese mothers in the two communes.
According to Colonel Bui Duc Thanh, Deputy Director of Military Hospital 175, the program was held to show the sentiment and responsibility of the medical staff toward the community, and their determination to build a healthy society. Meanwhile, the program hoped to help policy beneficiaries and needy people overcome their difficulties and have more understanding to take better care of their health.
