Ho Chi Minh City Command presents houses to needy households and policy beneficiaries in Ben Tre

The house presentation was part of the activities to mark the 79th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - 2023) and the 34th anniversary of the whole people’s defense festive day (December 22, 1989 - 2023)

In particular, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Command handed over houses to Mrs. Truong Thi Trang in hamlet 2B, Nhon Thanh commune and the family of Mr. Nguyen Van La in hamlet 3, Nhon Thanh commune. Each house was constructed on an area of 50sq.m at a cost of VND 80 million donated by the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command.

On the occasion, units, localities, and businesses presented gifts to the two families.

The model of building “military-civilian sentiment” houses is a regular activity of the Ho Chi Minh City Command. It demonstrates the sentiment of the city’s armed forces to policy beneficiaries and needy households.

The activity aims to strengthen solidarity between the city’s armed forces and people in Ben Tre.

The meaningful activities of the city’s armed forces have practically contributed to local party committees and authorities’ efforts in taking care of needy households and policy beneficiaries, fostering the solidarity between troops the Ho Chi Minh City Command and people in Ben Tre province.
