Numerous meaningful activities held on Vietnamese Physicians’ Day
PANO - A delegation of the Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Vo Minh Luong, visited and congratulated doctors and medical workers of Military Hospital 175 on February 26 on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the Vietnamese Physicians’ Day.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, General Luong applauded the unit’s task performance over the past time, especially their achievements in the COVID-19 prevention and control. He held that the defense ministry acknowledged responsibilities and enthusiasm of military doctors and medical workers, including the hospital’s ones, in providing healthcare and medical treatment for people.

In the time to come, Gen. Luong required the medical personnel of the hospital to continue promoting their responsibilities, professionalism and medical ethics to serve troops and people. He hoped that the hospital will further study the COVID-19 to proactively cope with other epidemics that might occur in the future.
On the occasion of the Vietnamese Physicians’ Day, the deputy defense minister wished the hospital’s doctors and medical workers good health and success while expressing his hope that the hospital will achieve better results in the time to come.
* The same day, a delegation of the General Staff, headed by its Deputy Chief Lt. Gen. Phung Si Tan, visited and presented gifts to doctors and medical workers of the Department of Military Medicine under the General Department of Logistics and Central Military Hospital 108.

Speaking at the event, General Tan congratulated the medical personnel of the units on the occasion of the Vietnamese Physicians’ Day. He noted that 2022 will continue to be a tough year due to the complicated developments of the pandemic; therefore, the military medical sector and personnel should continue promoting their responsibilities to take care of troops’ and people’s health.
* The Ho Chi Minh City Military Command held a gathering for its military medical personnel on February 26. On the occasion, the unit presented gifts to 35 outstanding doctors and medical workers in the COVID-19 prevention and control.
