From early morning, more than 3,000 officers, Youth Union members, and Women’s Union members in the whole region planted 78 yellow apricot trees in the  grounds of the martyr memorial of political prisoners in Cam Ranh; cleaned the environment; cleaned up beaches and surrounding waters near the units; upgraded youth projects, women’s flower gardens, and fruit orchards; collected, sorted, transported, and processed over 5 tons of various types of waste, among others.

This activity aimed to educate officers, youth members, and women’s union members raise their awareness about the country’s good traditions, while enhancing their responsibility in protecting the marine environment, contributing to building a regular, green, clean and beautiful working and living environment, and tightening the close ties between the military and civilians.
