After the four-day long effort, the naval troops took Ship Pacific 07 to the waters about 180 nautical miles from Phu Quy Island (Binh Thuan province).

Under the order of the Naval Service, the Saigon Newport Corporation dispatched the Tan Cang EAGLE (specialized rescue ship) to receive and tow Ship Pacific 07 to the mainland.

It is expected that around 9 p.m. on March 24, the troubled ship will be towed to Vung Tau waters. Currently, 19 crew-members of Pacific 07 are in stable health conditions.
