In 2021, Naval Region 2 successfully completed all assigned missions, especially in safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands, regularly carrying out patrols to manage and protect national fishing grounds, conducting live-fire exercises, and more.

Additionally, Naval Region 2 and its affiliates strictly embraced the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels to fulfill all assignments, and observed military discipline and ensured absolute safety for troops during training.

Last year, the region effectively worked with civilian and military press agencies in disseminating information. Many articles, reports, and photos were published, featuring Naval Region 2’s task performance, especially in protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands.
