Vice Political Chief of the Ca Mau provincial Border Guard Lieutenant Colonel Vo Minh Duong presents gifts to the family of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Tran Van Tat.

During the visits, leaders and officers of Ca Mau’s border guard units extended warm regards to the families and expressed deep gratitude for the immense sacrifices made by national heroes, wounded soldiers, martyrs, and other policy beneficiaries during the struggle for national liberation. They also expressed hope that these families would continue to be exemplary and uphold the revolutionary traditions of their families and homeland.

In addition, units under the Ca Mau Border Guard Command have organized a range of gratitude activities, including free medical check-ups and distribution of medicines for policy-beneficiary families, revolution contributors, and wounded or sick soldiers.

They also held candle-lighting ceremonies, offered incense and flowers in tribute to fallen heroes, and conducted environmental clean-up and landscaping activities at memorial sites in communes and towns along the coastal border areas of Ca Mau Province.

These activities were organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Ca Mau Provincial Border Guard (June 25, 1975 – 2025) and to celebrate the unit’s receipt of the Second-Class Fatherland Protection Order awarded by the State President.
