Thanks to support from the union, the family of Ksor H’Diem, a Gia Rai ethnic worker from Team 7 of Company 74, residing in Sung Le Kat village, Ia Kla commune, Duc Co district, has risen from poverty to prosperity. Her children are now healthy and performing well in school. Currently, her family manages a 4-hectare farm growing rubber, coffee, cashew, vegetables, and also operates livestock facilities for raising cows, pigs, and chickens, generating hundreds of millions of VND annually.

“If I hadn’t been hired as a worker by the company 16 years ago, and without the support from leaders at all levels and the Women’s Union, my husband and I probably wouldn’t have stable jobs today,” H’Diem shared.

Thanks to employment opportunities provided by Company 74, thousands of ethnic minority families have now achieved stable livelihoods, just like H’Diem’s. According to Senior Colonel Ha Van Nam, Deputy Director of Company 74, the company consistently prioritizes the welfare of its workers and local residents. Recognizing the cultural traditions of the Gia Rai and Ba Na ethnic groups, where women play an important role in family life, the company has instructed its agencies and units to strengthen the role of Women’s Unions at all levels in connecting with and supporting female workers and ethnic community members.

Ksor Chinh, a Gia Rai ethnic worker from Team 20 of Company 74, living in Po village, Ia Chia commune, Ia Grai district, is one of 15 women who received breeding livestock from the company’s Women’s Union in 2025. The initiative reflected the care and solidarity of the union’s members toward families in hardship. She shared that the union’s movements, programs, and models have been both practical and effective, offering genuine support for members in their economic development and efforts to improve their lives.

Over the past five years, the Women’s Union of Company 74 has provided rotating savings and loans totaling VND 500 million to disadvantaged members, supporting them in economic development. These loans have helped many ethnic minority households overcome poverty.
