During the event, the two missions presented 1,450 gifts, including moon-cakes, cookies, milk, star-shaped lanterns, bicycles, computers, smartphones and red scarves, worth VND 150 million in total, to local children.
On the occasion, the Quang Binh provincial Border Command and other units also presented face-masks and hand sanitizer to local schools and 1,649 gifts, worth VND 200 million, to children whose parents are working in border guard units.

On September 21, the Vietnam-Korea Businessmen and Investment Association (VKBIA) and volunteers handed over 800 Mid-autumn gifts to children from needy households and children, whose father or mother have passed away due to COVID-19, or who are infected with SARS-CoV-2 or undergoing quarantine in Ho Chi Minh City.
Each gift package, including moon-cakes, lanterns, chocolate, milk, fruits and other necessities, was a great source of encouragement for children who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
