Locals having their health checked |
According to the plan, the team of military doctors and medical staff conducted examinations and health consultations for more than 450 people, primarily policy beneficiaries, impoverished households, extremely disadvantaged families, and ethnic minority residents. The professional work covered a wide range of services, such as internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, ultrasound, electrocardiograms, treatment of common illnesses, seasonal disease prevention consultations, and free medicine distribution. The total cost of the mission exceeded VND 120 million.
Colonel Nguyen Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Military Hospital 15, shared, “Beyond providing medical examinations and treatment, we place strong emphasis on counseling and guiding local people on how to care for their own health and detect early signs of illness for timely treatment. This is both a responsibility and an expression of the affection of military medical personnel for people living in areas where Corps 15 is stationed.”
