On the early morning of February 7, over 35 troops of the Command were present at Ba Na hamlet to kick off the events.
They joined hands with local Youth Union members to clear weeds, clean the environment, dredge canals, and improve the landscape along internal village roads.

Under the dry sunshine of the border area, the image of officers and soldiers with sweat rolling down their faces, working tirelessly with hoes, shovels, and brooms to help villagers clear inter-village roads, repair houses for policy beneficiary families, and tidy up gardens left a deep impression.
Senior Colonel Nguyen Huu Phuoc, Political Commissar of the Command, said, “We see this not merely as a routine field operation, but as the affection and responsibility of officers and soldiers toward local residents. Making villages clean and beautiful and helping policy families celebrate Tet contributes to building a strong people’s hearts posture from the grassroots.”
On February 8, the grounds of the Ba Na Hamlet Community Cultural House became lively with the competition “Green Banh Chung (Square Glutinous Rice Cake) Festival,” attracting officers and soldiers, together with militia personnel and Youth Union members of the commune and hamlet. Hands once familiar with weapons now showed surprising dexterity in crafting square, vibrant green banh chung.

The atmosphere grew even more exciting with traditional stick-pushing games and volleyball exchanges between the Grassroots Youth Union Organization of the Defensive Area Command Region 3-Ea Sup and the Youth Union Organization of Ea Rok commune.
Crowning the spirit of military-civilian solidarity was the cultural performance night “Spring of Solidarity in Region 5 – Tet of Military-Civilian Bond,” held on the evening of February 8. Under sparkling stage lights, singing and dancing performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and love for the homeland blended with the resounding gongs of the Ba Na hamlet artisan team, creating a culturally rich musical feast that attracted thousands of residents from neighboring hamlets.
The organizing committee also carried out information dissemination to raise locals’ awareness of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, as well as the Law on Military Service.
