At the event, the participating units presented 100 gift packages to disadvantaged households in the area. Each package included five kilograms of rice, a Tet gift set, and VND 200,000 in cash, helping families ease difficulties and enjoy a more complete holiday.

A highlight of the program was the bundles of fresh green vegetables, products of the units’ own production activities, personally grown and cared for by officers and soldiers. Though simple, these gifts added warmth and flavor to family meals during Tet, carrying sincere affection and symbolizing the close and enduring bond between the military and the people.

Tran Thi Anh Tuyet, a resident of Long Huong ward, shared her emotions upon receiving the Tet gift: “Coming here to receive Tet gifts in such a warm military–civilian atmosphere, I feel deeply moved and happy to receive such a meaningful present.”

In addition to gift-giving activities, officers and soldiers actively assisted local residents in cleaning roads and streets, improving environmental hygiene, and building green, clean, and beautiful streets in preparation for the Lunar New Year 2026.

The “Military–civilian Tet” program is a deeply humane activity that continues to affirm the close, inseparable relationship between the military and the people, while spreading the message that no one is left behind. Through practical and heartfelt actions, military–civilian solidarity is further strengthened, creating a solid foundation for unity and contributing to the stable development of the local community.
