Pa Thang village is home to 372 Ha Nhi ethnic people living along the area bordering with China. Generations of local people have upheld the solidarity tradition, actively cooperated with the local border guard force, authorities, and authorized agencies to firmly safeguard the national borders.

At the event, Thu Lum Border Post and other organizations in Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province, Muong Te district, and Hanoi presented national flags and photos of Uncle Ho to 74 local households

Addressing the event, Deputy Political Commissar of Lai Chau provincial Border Guard Command, Senior Colonel Le Cong Thanh expressed his hope that Pa Thang villagers will put the portraits of Uncle Ho at the most solemn place in their house to show the deepest gratitude toward President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Vietnamese revolution and hang the national flags in front of their house on the occasions of major national and local events.
