General Nguyen Trong Nghia visits and presents gifts to units of Corps 19
PANO – On January 28, in Quang Ninh province, a working delegation of the Ministry of National Defense, led by General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Director of the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People’s Army, paid visits and presented gifts to officers, soldiers, and workers of Company 35 and the Northeast Coal Transportation and Processing Joint Stock Company under the Dong Bac Corporation (Corps 19).
General Nguyen Trong Nghia praised Corps 19 in general, Company 35 and the Northeast Coal Transportation and Processing JSC for their resilience and achievements. He affirmed these efforts significantly advance both the Vietnam People’s Army and national development.

He urged all-level Party committees and commanders to effectively implement Party and defense directives. He emphasized boosting productivity and business efficiency while improving workers' welfare and fostering internal unity.

Regarding hazardous environments, General Nguyen Trong Nghia ordered Party committees and commanders to prioritize absolute labor safety. He urged stricter discipline, rigorous safety compliance, and enhanced inspections at high-risk sites.
Additionally, he directed units to strengthen political education, address workers' aspirations, and leverage mass organizations to drive production and technical innovation. The General also emphasized developing a skilled, professional workforce with firm political convictions to meet modern mission requirements.

On the occasion of the upcoming traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, General Nguyen Trong Nghia presented gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, and extended his best wishes for health, happiness, and success to officers, soldiers, and workers of the units. He expressed his hope that they would continue to uphold their units’ traditions, stay united, strive relentlessly, and successfully accomplish all assigned tasks.
As part of the event, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Commander of Military Region 3 also presented Tet gifts to representatives of officers and workers of the units.
