The GDP chief speaks at the festival. |
In recent years, local authorities, Party members, and residents have upheld strong solidarity and actively participated in patriotic movements. Their efforts have contributed to socio-economic development and helped maintain security and order. Movements, such as the “Whole people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas” and the “Whole people protect national security” have been implemented effectively, reinforcing public trust in the Party’s leadership.
Speaking to the local community, General Nghia expressed pride in Tay Ninh’s heroic revolutionary tradition and its strong progress in recent years. He emphasized that following its administrative merger, Tay Ninh now enjoys expanded development opportunities rooted in shared cultural traits, human resources and economic potential. He noted that the success of the recent provincial Party Congress demonstrated unity, determination to innovate, and collective aspiration for a more modern, civilized and compassionate province.
In the first ten months of 2025, the province achieved notable results. State budget revenue reached nearly VND 44 trillion, or 118.1% of the target assigned by the central government and up 38% year-on-year. Public investment disbursement surpassed 67.6% of the plan, national defense and security remained firmly safeguarded, living standards continued to improve, and many localities gained recognition as “Advanced new-style rural areas” or “Model rural areas.”
The GDP chief praised Phu Nhon for exemplifying these achievements. He described the residential area as a shining example in the movement to build a cultural lifestyle among the community.

The General reaffirmed that the Vietnam People’s Army remains a political and combat force absolutely loyal to the Party, State and people, fulfilling its roles as a combat force, a working force and a production force. He emphasized that the military always nurtures a close bond with the people and contributes actively to social welfare, sustainable poverty reduction, and the synergy of defense, security, and socio-economic development.
From the beginning of the year, the armed forces have built and donated more than 18,000 houses of different kinds; provided care for 678 heroic Vietnamese mothers; and deployed over 450,000 troops and thousands of vehicles for rescue operations, natural disaster prevention and support for disaster-affected communities. These efforts, he stressed, have demonstrated the compassion, responsibility and revolutionary character of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new era.
General Nghia called on Tay Ninh, particularly those in Phu Nhon Residential Area and Long An ward, to continue innovating operational methods, strengthen the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, and maintain close connections with people to promptly address their legitimate concerns and aspirations. He emphasized the need to encourage greater participation in patriotic campaigns, promote rural modernization and urban civilization, and preserve the nation’s cultural values.
