Speaking at the working session in the special zone, Gen. Nghia expressed his delight at the socio-economic development achievements of Hai Phong city and the special zone over the past time. He affirmed that these results reflected the great efforts and determination of the local Party Committee, authorities, and people, with the close coordination, companionship, and contribution of the local armed forces.

Citing the zone’s immense potential, he urged local authorities to innovate leadership and development strategies. He also called on resident military units to coordinate closely with other forces to bolster city growth. Notably, troops must remain exemplary, upholding "Uncle Ho's soldiers" qualities while mobilizing residents to follow regulations for the zone’s continued progress.

As Tet nears, Gen. Nghia wished Hai Phong and Cat Hai authorities, armed forces, and residents continued prosperity and innovation. He also presented gifts from the CMC and MND to local leadership and units. Later, visiting Corps 19, the general praised its achievements and urged the unit to leverage technology and expand domestic and international markets to match its growing stature.

The unit was also urged to improve effectiveness of production and business activities, pay close attention to building regularity, strictly observing combat readiness regulations, and ensuring good organization and training of the reserve force, as well as further strengthening military-civilian bonds.

The Party Committee of Corps 19 should pro-actively embrace the outcomes and implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress in a high-quality, practical, and effective manner, creating a high level of unity in thinking and action, and quickly bringing the resolution into life.

Concluding the visit, Gen. Nghia wished the corps’ troops and laborers and their families a New Year of happiness, success, and new victories and presented Tet gifts from the CMC and MND to the unit.
