During the event, doctors and medical staff from Military Hospital 105 provided free health check-ups and medicines to local people, focusing on the elderly, policy beneficiaries, veterans, and disadvantaged people.

On this occasion, the General Department of Logistics - Technical Affairs and Military Hospital 105 also presented 60 gifts and medicine bags to local people.

Providing free medicines to local people

Veteran Tran Tien Chuong, who has been suffering from thyroid cancer for years, was deeply moved by the care of the doctors and medical staff. He shared that the support contributed to encouraging him to overcome difficulties.

Military doctors provided wholehearted care and free medicines, leaving a deep impression on local people, while deepening the military-civilian ties.

Despite many significant strides in socio-economic development, Huong Do commune still faces challenges due to its harsh terrain conditions and natural disasters. Chairman of Huong Khe district's People’s Committee Thai Phuc Son expressed gratitude for the military’s support, including building 50 houses for disadvantaged households.

Earlier, the delegation paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the National Special Historic Site in Huong Do commune, contributing to educating troops about traditions and highlighting the military’s commitment to social responsibility, bringing practical benefits to impoverished areas.
