General Department of Logistics hands over “Great unity” house to needy people

Head of the Department of Political Affairs of the General Department of Logistics Senior Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung hands over the decision to support money in cash and kinds to Nguyen Duc Trong’s family.

Trong’s family is living in hard conditions. Implementing the campaign “The Whole Nation Joins Hands to Support the Poor - No One Is Left Behind,” the general department and the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) supported VND 80 million to help Trong build house.

After two months, the construction was completed as scheduled with good quality.

Addressing the ceremony, Senior Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung congratulated Trong’s family on receiving the new house, affirming that the support shows the care of the general department and Viettel to his family.

On the occasion, the General Department of Logistics and representatives of units and local authorities handed over many gifts to the recipient.

The delegation of the General Department of Logistics also offered gifts to local authorities and 20 needy households in Gia Khanh commune, Gia Loc district, Hai Duong province, worth totally more than VND 50 million.
