The mission of the General Department of Defense Industry presenting gifts to the management board of Ben Duoc Temple

The mission has offered incense and laid flower at Ben Duoc Temple in Ho Chi Minh City’s Cu Chi district in remembrance of great contribution of troops and people who laid down their lives in Saigon – Cho Lon – Gia Dinh area. They have paid tribute to Major General, Professor, Labor Hero Tran Dai Nghia, who had greatly contributed to building the defense industry sector in Vietnam.

On the occasion, the General Department of Defense Industry donated VND 80 million to build a gratitude house, presented gifts, worth VND 1 million each, to ten needy policy beneficiaries in Tuong Loc commune, and granted VND 20 million each to the management boards of the Commemorative Area of Professor Tran Dai Nghia and Ben Duoc Temple.

Prior to the 75th anniversary of the Wounded and Fallen Soldiers' Day, the general department also launched the “When drinking water, remember its source, paying gratitude to revolution contributors” emulation movement and sent missions to offer incense and flowers in commemoration of fallen soldiers at Truong Son National War Cemetery, Road 9 National War Cemetery, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, and Vi Xuyen National War Cemetery.

The General Department of Defense Industry has also built gratitude houses for policy beneficiaries and visited and presented gifts to Nho Quan Convalescent Center in Ninh Binh district, Duy Tien Convalescent Center for Wounded Soldiers in Ha Nam province, Vietnam Friendship Village in Hanoi, heroic Vietnamese mothers, fallen soldiers’ relatives who are working in units and agencies under the general department, policy beneficiaries and revolution contributors.
