At the hand-over ceremony in Hamlet 10

In hamlet 10, Ea Bung commune, Ea Sup district, Yok M’Bre Border Post has worked with local authorities and Dang Phong Production, Trade, Service, Import-Export Ltd. Company (DAPHOVINA) to hand over a drilled well to locals. The project, including drilled well, pump, water tanks, electricity system, and water pipe, was conducted at a total cost of VND 50 million, sponsored by DAPHOVINA.

Major Pham Van Ban, Political Officer of Yok M’Bre Border Post, said that while working in Ea Bung commune of Ea Sup district, the unit’s troops learnt that local residents wanted to have a drilled well at the Cultural House to meet their daily and production needs, but they could not afford. Learning about locals’ aspiration, the border post’s chain-of-command has called on and mobilized organizations and businesses to donate to drill the well. 

In Ia Rve commune, Ea Sup district, Ia Rve Border Post, in collaboration with local authorities, has held a ground-breaking ceremony for the drilling of a well for people in Hamlet 2. The estimated cost of the project is at VND 50 million, donated by benefactors and Buddhist followers in Ho Chi Minh City.

In dry season, like many other localities in Dak Lak province, people in Hamlet 2 face severe water shortage for daily and production activities. Aware of the situation, border guard force and other military and public security units in the locality have applied different measures, including mobilizing personnel and vehicles to transport water for locals and mobilizing resources to drill wells, to ease people’s difficulties.
