Speaking at the meeting, Gen. Dao said that on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2026), the CMC and MND has organized many delegations to pay tribute at war cemeteries, visit and present gifts to policy beneficiaries nationwide, including those in Quang Tri province.

The GS deputy chief also required the Military Region 4 Command and the provincial Military Command to closely work with local authorities to effectively implement the “The whole country joins hands for the poor – Leaving no one behind” emulation movement; pay due attention to providing both material and spiritual support for policy beneficiary families, national contributors, and needy households; and to encourage them actively engaged in production, contributing to local development and prosperity.

On the same day, the delegation offered incense and flowers in tribute to martyrs at Truong Son National War Cemetery, Road 9 National War Cemetery, and the special national historical site of Quang Tri Citadel.
