The campaign, held for five consecutive days (from February 3 to 7), witnessed the enthusiastic participation of hospital leaders, staff, and employees.

Within the first three days, over 300 blood units were  collected. These precious blood units are meaningful gifts during the early days of the lunar New Year, bringing hope to patients and joy to blood donors.

The hospital instructed the Blood Transfusion Department to compile a list of registered donors and organized blood collection sessions based on staff availability or when the hospital’s blood reserves run low.

Through this initiative, the hospital aimed to encourage blood donation at critical times, such as during emergencies or when supplies from both military and civilian sources are insufficient.

The campaign has effectively addressed post-Tet blood shortage and fostered a tradition of blood donation among hospital staff at the beginning of the year. This noble act demonstrated the compassion and responsibility of the hospital’s personnel toward the community and society, particularly in supporting patients by improving their health and treatment opportunities.
