The representative of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command hands over the house to Le Van Hiep’s family.

The 64sq.m house was built at a total cost of VND 140 million, of which VND 50 million was donated the branch of the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development in Dak Lak, and the remaining came from his relatives. Besides, troops of Ia Rve Border Post contributed 100 working days and called on benefactors to donate construction materials to build the house and yard.

Le Van Hiep’s family is a poor household, and they had lived in a downgraded house for years.

At the handover ceremony, Le Van Hiep represented his families to thank the provincial party committee, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development in Dak Lak, and troops of Ia Rve Border Post for helping his family have a spacious and clean house. He expressed delight at receiving the house on the occasion of the traditional lunar New Year of the nation.

Hiep said that the new house will be a motivation for him and his family to strive to develop domestic economy to escape poverty.
