On December 30, 2022, the Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No.5992, recognizing the headquarters of the Department of Political Affairs under the General Department of Supply (now the General Department of Logistics) as a provincial-level historical site.

At the end of 2023, the Department of Political Affairs, in coordination with local authorities, invested in the expansion and construction of the memorial house. After nearly 3 months of construction, the project was completed as planned, ensuring quality. The nearly 100 sq.m. memorial house is located on an area of 1,142 sq.m. It showcases over 500 images and artifacts divided into phases: The Department of Political Affairs during the resistance war against French colonialists from 1951 to 1954; the resistance war against the U.S. invaders from 1954 to 1975; the national construction and defense cause from 1975 till now, and gratitude activities.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Major General Le Tat Cuong affirmed that from the early days of its establishment, the officers and soldiers of the Department of Political Affairs have always received wholehearted support from the Party committee, authority, and people of Dinh Bien commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province.
