Binh Duong’s Militry Command builds houses for those in need
PANO - The Binh Duong provincial Military Command held a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a house for the family of Lam Thi Thanh Huong in An My hamlet, An Dien commune, Ben Cat town on April 15.
Huong’s family is currently worshipping two martyrs and facing many difficulties. The house is built on their own land with a total investment of VND 80 million, donated by the Ministry of National Defense. During the construction, the local party committee, authorities, and benefactors will contribute working days and donate construction materials to ensure that the house is completed on schedule.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Deputy Political Commissar of the Binh Duong provincial Military Command Senior Colonel Le Minh Chi said that constructing houses for policy beneficiaries and people with good service to the revolution demonstrates troops’ sentiment, responsibility, and activeness in conducting gratitude work.
As reported, last year, Binh Duong’s armed forces built a total of 33 houses. This year, with the funding from the Ministry of National Defense, the provincial military command plans to build five more houses for policy beneficiaries.

Col. Chi thanked the party committee and authorities of An Dien commune for helping and creating favorable conditions for the family Lam Thi Thanh Huong to complete the construction of the house. The Military Command of An Dien commune will collaborate with local party committee and authorities to regularly observe the construction to ensure the quality and progress of the project.
The same day, the provincial military command held a ceremony to start the construction of a great unity house for the family of standing militiaman Huynh Ngoc Anh, who is working at the Military Command of An Dien commune. The house is built in Kien An hamlet at a cost of VND 80 million donated by the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
