Young border guards share experience in task performance
PANO – The Politics Department of the Vietnam Border Guard Command held a talk for its young officers and soldiers in the Northern region of the country on November 24.
Senior Colonel Van Ngoc Que, Deputy Director of the Politics Department of the Vietnam Border Guard Command chaired the event. Major General Trinh Hoang Hiep, Director of the Border Guard Academy; and Senior Colonel Nguyen Thai Sinh, Political Commissar of the academy attended the event.
The talk had many interesting topics, including young border soldiers studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morals and lifestyle; preventing and fighting against the “peaceful evolution” strategy, “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” in thoughts, morals and lifestyles of border troops; COVID-19 prevention and control work; and preventing illegal entry and exit across borderlines; among others.
The participants also shared their difficulties in task implementation and proposed measures to help border troops fulfill their assigned missions, at the event.
Concluding the program, Senior Colonel Que acknowledged and highly valued the wholehearted participation of the young border guards and asked relevant units to create favorable conditions for the youths to study and fulfill their assigned tasks.
Senior Colonel Que also asked young border soldiers to further improve their political stance and competence, contributing to strengthening the border guard force.
